Sohaib Shafiq qualified in 2005 from Glasgow Caledonian University and with a firm determination to provide high quality eyecare and extensive option of frames, lenses and contact lenses at a local community level at affordable cost. From this, Eyes Optical was born in Scotstoun in 2008. It has inserted itself into the community next to the local GP, Dentists and other local needs.
Since then, Sohaib undertook additional qualification and is now an Independent Prescriber, which means he can issue medicines for almost any eye condition someone can suffer from.
In his spare time, Sohaib enjoys snowboarding, driving his bike and travelling.
